My mother has been at the facility for 6 weeks tomorrow. She 'loves' the aides, particularly Clevel and Samantha who have been her angels. The nurses are wonderful , The Blue Unit is the best. Lorri, Ann Marie, Claudia and Jamie *and anyone else I missed* Nixon & Evelyn are caring. I was so very touched by a comment one of the aides said to me when I was there (she was not an aide who typically is in the Blue Unit) My mom was so grateful that she had dressed her and put her undergarments on. I was fearful it would be difficult for the aides at night getting it off of her (she has a neckbrace) she said to me "It is not about making it easy for us; its about making it comfortable for her" While she your mother when she is not here, she is my mother when she is in here" I was so very touched by this.

As a physical therapist who has worked and seen many SNF settings I can honestly say that this is the best one I have ever seen. They took very good care of my mother and even my father who was not their patient but stayed there to keep my mother company. Thank you so much to all the staff for your care, kindness and hard work. You guys are a blessing.

Dear Ms. Reyes (Administrator at Alaris Health at Cedar Grove),
I would like to thank you for your immediate response to my complaint of no heat in the facility. As I was pointing out to you my husband has a voice, but there are patients that cannot voice their concerns or complaints. Your response was instantaneous and you solved the problem quickly.
I would also like to tell you about one of your staff members who is exceptional nurse and person, Monika Bienias. She is very attentive to the needs of the patients of your facility. I have watched her kind-heartedness and compassion as she cares for patients. We all know it takes a very special person to be a nurse and she is the role model for that position.
You should be complimented on your entire staff.
Again, I want to thank you for your efforts on behalf of the patients

Dear Ms Reyes,
I am writing to express our family's gratitude to two of the therapist my mom had during her rehab at Alaris: Emily for PT and Christin for OT.
Both therapist displayed such kindness and patience to my mom during her sessions with them. Their expertise was above and beyond our expectations. It gave my mom the confidence and determination to move forward to become more mobile and self reliant for her transition back home.
They would always take the time to talk and explain my mom's progress with us, and answer and address any of our questions and concerns.
They made us feel like my mom was their only patient.
My family is very thankful to them both and are happy to see how much my mom has improved by the therapy she received from Emily and Christin!
A BIG Thank you to them both!

Both of our parents were patients at Alaris in Cedar Grove . Both for a few months.
Our parents were treated with compassion and respect.
Our Mom loved her nurses and the PT staff and she called her aids "her Angels".
The entire staff assisted our whole family through a very
trying and confusing time.

This was my second stay at this facility. Upon both occasions I had rather serious medical problems. The entire staff was exceptional in assisting me in full recovery both times. There is no way I can possibly express my sincere appreciation to the entire staff . The care and compassion I was shown was above and beyond anything I could have expected.
God bless and keep everyone in his hands.

I am writing this on behalf of my father, who resided at Alaris Health At Cedar Grove for a little over 3 months while rehabilitating after surgery this spring. We would both like to express our sincere appreciation for the efforts of the staff who were compassionate and attentive
I'm sure you know, to a large degree, an individual's ability to recover is dependent upon their emotional state. Alaris Health At Cedar Grove did a great job of addressing this through a variety of therapeutic, recreational and social activities. My father, who is not a "joiner", participated minimally in these activities. However, it was the regular interactions with the staff that provided the extra support he needed to get him through the rough patches during his recovery and rehab.
